I'd like to wish everyone all the best for 2009 and hope you enjoyed your xmas. After a busy year '08, I've been relaxing the last couple of weeks except doing what needs to be done like sales, etc... Starting Monday I'll be back to work and grinding 24/7.

I've uploaded a few things for you to download. First thing is the my single "Spread This Word" along with the radio version, instrumental and acapella for DJ's, radio hosts, etc.. . As well as the video for you to download, it's in .mkv format so you'll need be up to date with codec's to watch it.

Second thing is a written freestyle I did for fun over the "No one has Swagger Like Us" instrumental, the songs is off of T.I.'s album for those who haven't heard it. The idea originally came from Tyna who said we should do a re-make of it, but for those who know Tyna know he's a busy fella so I ended up just doing it myself because I was in the mood for writing.

Also check out the new "Back 2 Basics" issue with Ne-Yo and Nelly on the cover, it has an dope article on me and there's an album review in the review's section as well.

The album is available online now at www.digirama.co.nz or www.amplifier.co.nz or www.cdbaby.com (USA). You can listen to samples of the album on all of those sites. It'll be available on itunes early next year, I'll keep you posted. It's also available in stores across New Zealand, alternatively you can buy one directly by e-mailing info@superior4tress.com . New Music Video "Kapabal - Spread This Word" & Album out Monday, Tracklist & more

What's good everyone today I had the meanest flu, how do you get the flu in such hot weather? I fell asleep with no blanket covering me lastnight, so today I haven't been doing much at all. It sux because I have heaps to do but oh well shit happens.

The album is out Monday (December 1st) so go and buy it if you didn't pre-order a copy. For those who did your copy should already be on its way. Some stores will be getting it a bit late but i'm working my arse off making sure it's available all across the country. If you can't find it in a store near you hit me up info@superior4tress.com and i'll make sure it is. I also received a contract today for digital distribution :) so it should be available on Vodafone & Telecom soon and itunes a bit later because apparently itunes take 4-6 weeks to put it up. I'll let you know when it is though.

Another thing if you see the video on TV please let me know because I don't watch much TV and they won't tell me if they do. Also if you see any reviews or anything about me in magazines or newspapers let me know as well, because they only magazine I read regularly is Back 2 Basics and I only read newspapers during my break at work. So sweet? because I'd like to know.

We are now taking pre-orders for my (Kapabal's) album "Before Now" out December 1st. I know the release date is awhile away but everyone should know time goes quick! Plus the more pre-orders we get the more money I can put into promoting the album which is an expensive process! The bigger the budget the more successful it'll be, so show your support by pre-ordering a copy as soon as you have a spare $20 note ($18 for the album & $2 for P&H). It'll be a lot cheaper than buying it in the stores and for those who pre-order you'll also receive a extra free CD with songs that are not on the Album. On Thursday October 30th I'll be performing at the "Hut Bar" (851 Fergusson Drive) in Upper Hutt with Young Sid, Temple Jones, Mr Sicc, Tha Movement, DJ Smv, DJ Infrared, Hosted by USOuljah. Tickets are $15 from "Hut Bar" available now! For those who live in (and out of) Upper Hutt make sure you come along to this. As you know there hasn't been much of a Hip Hop scene here for years now (I miss the Civic Centre days!), but I'm pretty sure the Hut Bar now has new management or ownership and thats why they're now getting in live entertainment. So lets get the Hip Hop scene in Upper Hutt back up & running again by coming along and supporting especially when all those dope acts are coming all the way from Auckland! I know its on a Thursday night and a lot of you have work in the morning but so do I so there's no excuses.

Make sure you go out & buy a copy of the new Back 2 Basics magazine, the one with T-Pain on the cover (Oct-Dec issue). There is an article I organised for www.rainydaystrust.org on how we need to remove the social stigma of depression in New Zealand. It's titled "The Sound Of Silence" it's written by Ebony Nutsford and it also features seven Hip Hop artists including myself.. The magazine also has a lot of other interesting articles like Welli Deep, Christchurch Hip Hop & one I particularly enjoyed reading was a interview with Saigon.

The official release date for Kapabal's album "Before Now" has recently been decided. It'll be available in stores and online from December 1st 2008. The album features appearances from K-illa, Tyna, Pakkz, Spectak, Percieve, AL, T. Mo and more. On the production side of things, 6 tracks are produced by Tyna, 1 by Spectak, 3 by Kapabal and 6 tracks by various producers. More information to come later.

If you want to come along to the Wrestling show where "Kapabal" will be performing on Friday 29th August, its at the Old Wainui College Hall, 7 PM. The night will be a memorial show for their trainer who passed away. It should be a fun night hosted by "Doughboy" and there will also be performances by 44 meta4z, Heavy Trade, Mo n Nella & Choirboy.

On Saturday 16th August we did a video shoot for a song of mine (Kapabal) titled "Spread this Word", which is my first video for my forthcoming album "Before Now". Shouts out to T. Mo & Doughboy for handling the filming side of things. They shot it with professional High-Definition cameras so its going to turn out awesome quality and i'm looking forward to the finished product. It was a very enjoyable day and so was the afterparty, getting pissed with my mates & having some mean cyphers. Tyna was on fire, he rocked through about 5 instrumentals non-stop wtih constant punchlines, no exaggeration!. I'll let you know when the video is ready to be released.

I might be performing at a Wrestling show in Wainui this Friday 29th August, the reason i say "might be" is because one of the organisers passed away and i won't know if its still happening till Tuesday. Keep an eye on this site for whether or not i am and more informaiton if your interested in coming along or email info@superior4tress.com for more information. Since i'll be in Wainui this Friday night, I'm also going to make an appearance at Rage FM 88.7 Wainui's local Radio Station at about 5.00 and play my new song "Spread this Word" and maybe drop a freestyle & answer any questions.

This site has changed servers and we've been having some problems which i'm trying to sort out, please let me know if you notice any. We've been getting more & more clicks for this site aswell so I'd like to have the whole site re-done & upgraded but at the moment i have too much on my plate so i't'll have to wait awhile before we do.
